WHAT WE BELIEVE
The Bible teaches there is only one God and His name is Jesus
(Deuteronomy 6:4, Colossians 2:9-10, Philippians 2:9-11, 1 Timothy3:16).
THE FATHER
Jesus was the Father in creation (Gen 1:1, John 1:1-3)
THE SON
Jesus is the Son in redemption (John 3:16, Acts 4:12,
Matthew 1:21)
THE HOLY GHOST
Jesus is the Holy Ghost
in this present world
(John 14:16-26,
Ephesians 4:4-6).
SALVATION
We believe that salvation is given to all who repent of their sins, are baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, and are filled with the Holy Ghost as evidenced by speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance
(Acts 2:37-40).
DAILY LIVING
We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God that serves as a
roadmap to all things pertaining to life and salvation (2 Timothy
3:16). As children of God, we are called to express our love to God
and those we come in contact with in our daily lives. (Mark 12:28-31).
As such, we are to strive to live peacefully with all men (Romans
12:18). The Holy Ghost empowers us to live a holy, separated life
that is set apart in thought, word, and deed (2 Corinthians 6:17,
Hebrews 12:14). We believe that all Spirit-filled believers have
access to the supernatural gifts of the Spirit in the church today (1
Corinthians 12:7-12). We believe there is a Heaven and there is a
Hell. We believe a person’s final destination is determined by the
life they live for God. Those who have followed the plan of salvation
will inherit eternal life, and those who have not will experience
eternal death (Acts 1:11, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, Revelation
20:11-15).
